Lee Begaye is a photographer from the Navajo Nation whose lens has always pointed toward truth — the golden light breaking over Monument Valley, the split-second of a receiver stretching for the end zone, the quiet dignity of a people and a place. Raised on the reservation in northeastern Arizona, Lee's work is shaped by a deep connection to the land and a lifelong love of sport.
